COVID-19

PRECAUTIONS FOR THE CURRENT HEALTH CRISIS as at 7/07/2020

Vitalise Psychology are recommending following all the guidelines put forth by government. As of 11:59pm on Wednesday 8 July 2020, the Government implemented Stage 3 restrictions which includes the shutdown of non-essential activity/services across the country, which is aimed at slowing the spread of coronavirus.

Psychologists ARE considered to be an essential services – the Health Minister has confirmed that all allied health businesses can continue working and are encouraged to do so. This means the practice will stay open, and we will continue to see clients for face-to-face sessions.

Please feel reassured that we are taking every precaution at the clinic during this period; we are adding extra hygiene and cleaning/disinfectant practices in place.

GENERAL ADVICE

  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness please do not attend your appointment in person.
  • If any of the psychologists have any concerns about showing symptoms themselves, they will be sure to cancel your face-to-face appointment and offer an alternative arrangement where possible.
  • In the event that a face-to-face appointment is not feasible due to your being in quarantine or self-isolation due to suspected contact with coronavirus, sessions can be attended by phone or video. Please make sure you a private place from which to conduct the session.

I hope this information makes things a touch clearer during these uncertain times
